Page 3: Adding the Ballast

 Wayne had made molds of the sections of the keel and cast solid lead blocks.

With the addition of a small amount of molten lead the ballast is secured.

Spray on polyurethane foam. The best qualities but also the most expensive and
 most work of all the insulation options available.
