Sitka
General. An entertaining town with lots to see and do. The Russian influence is very visible here. A highly recommended stop. It is still very much a fishing town although cruise ships appear to have changed commercial fishing to a more sports fishing orientation. This town would be a major contender for the 'most berths per head of population' title and still there is not enough to satisfy demand.
